After Many Years of Burger Eating Here Is One Thing I Have Noticed.

I am unsure why but for some reason I notice many things about the way burgers are presented. The time of the day also has something to do with it as well. After many years of testing this theory, I will go ahead and state that if you are looking for a good burger in a restaurant or the To Go menu. Do yourself a favor and add bacon to it. I know many people will probably state “I always get bacon anyway.” That is awesome, but for some grabbing a quick burger quick and easy may be what they are looking for at times. And if you are not asked that famous phrase “should we add bacon” then we all do not just think to add it. Some people also do not want to pay an extra .75 to 1.25 extra also for this amazing side dish.

I will give you a few examples as to where I am going with this.

  1. The last two weeks many have ordered from to-go menus, and since I order burgers daily I have noticed that on some burgers because of the time in preparation it just may be lacking at times.
  2. You may have less lettuce or sometimes you may notice your patty is not as plump and juicy as it was on another date.
  3. Usually we notice this with the amount of fries given but when you sit down you are excited to finally grab a bite; and I find if it happens too many times. Some customers may not be excited enough to go back.
  4. Please keep in mind that if you walk in at 2pm lettuce preparations may be slim also. (I am certainly not singling out it’s strictly just an observation after many years.)

OK now on to the story. I find that when a business owner is adding bacon to a burger they are more conscious of that burger. (In return, you will always get the full experience and added flavor. You will also be excited to go back knowing that the flavor of bacon is on the mind when you have the thought of the location.

The preparer may be more generous or put more pride when they are viewing that burger with added depth….so yes I do believe they think about their customer’s experience at the table more. Maybe they remember hey I really do like bacon too I’ll have one after…I am unsure about this. But give it a try and feel free to take a picture and comment to us on a scale from 1-10 if you agree on one of our social media pages. (find them below)

Find a burger this week and if you don’t add bacon try adding extra cheese or onion rings to add to the depth. I truly think even if you can’t fit your mouth around it you will be still be excited to taste something extra. – AH
